The ABAC® ISO 37001 Lead Auditor training course provides the necessary knowledge and skills that enable you to perform anti-bribery management system (ABMS) audits by applying widely recognised audit principles, procedures, and techniques.

  • The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between top management responsibility, policy, objectives, planning, implementation, measurement, review and continual improvement

Anti-bribery management

  • The concepts of managing anti-bribery through identification of risk, risk assessment, risk control and compliance with legal requirements and other requirements
  • The relationship between anti-bribery management and the provision/implementation of reasonable and proportionate measures designed to prevent, detect and respond to bribery
  • Common examples of relevant international, national and local anti-bribery legislation and requirements

ABAC® also offers ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems certification as a part of the suite of services and solutions designed to help organisations against bribery and corruption even when operating in multi-jurisdiction and multi-cultural environments.

ISO 37001 certifies that your organisation has implemented reasonable and proportionate measures to prevent bribery. These measures involve top-level leadership, training, bribery risk assessment, due diligence adequacy, financial and commercial controls, reporting, audit, and investigation. ABAC® program can be tailored in accordance with your organisation’s requirements.


CPD compliance & attribution of CPD points

As a provisional Lead Auditor, you must earn a minimum of 20 credit hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) every 12 months. You are required to submit evidence of CPD compliance within 12 months of the date of your certificate on an annual basis.

Breakdown of CPD

  1. CPD units must be fraud, compliance or ethics related to being considered relevant for compliance.
  2. Non-accredited training can be granted CPD, but on case to case basis, based on their relevance to the certificate issued.

Ways to submit CPD:

  1. Visit to submit the CPD.
  2. Email your CPD compliance to, subject ‘CPD Compliance’.

Noncompliance for submission of CPD:

If you do not submit CPD as per the deadline, your credential will be placed into Suspension. During Suspension, you are restricted to claim status as Provisional Lead Auditor.

Suspension can be resolved by submitting the required CPD via website or email. However, if the Suspended status remains for more than one year, the certificate will be revoked, and you will be required to retake the Lead Auditor Exam.
