ABAC®’s UKAS accreditation scope extended

ABAC® Center of Excellence, an independent certification body, protects your organisation from damaging litigation and safeguard your business in the global marketplace by providing certification and training in internationally recognised ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems standard.

At the beginning of 2020, ABAC® announced that the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) has accredited its ABAC Certification services for administering the ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems standard in the following industries:

  • Banking and Finance, Real Estate, Property, Legal Business Services
  • Construction and Public Administration and Contracts
  • Power Generation and Transmission, Mining, Oils, Gases / Utilities
  • Pharmaceutical and Healthcare
  • Transport and Storage

Pursuant to this, ABAC® was accredited in the UK, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates for ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management Systems (ABMS) certification in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1: 2015 conformity assessment requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems.

Extended UKAS accreditation scope

As part of the continuous effort to provide the highest level of services and to help businesses across different industries to curb bribery and corruption, ABAC® has recently extended the scope of UKAS accreditation and got accredited in additional business sectors:

  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing
  • IT/Telecommunications
  • Light and Heavy Manufacturing
